Lent in Plain Sight

Welcome to the Lenten Devotional 2021 for Westminster Presbyterian Church.

Over the next six weeks, as we travel together on the journey of Lent, these devotions will serve as our companions. The resource is Lent in Plain Sight from Jill Duffield. She invites us to “open our eyes, to the certain providence and power of God, allowing us to lower our anxiety about the future, lessen our burden about the past and free us to follow Jesus in faith right here and now.” We will go through the six weeks of Lent exploring familiar objects with faith-filled eyes, accompanied by scripture to awaken us to God’s presence everywhere. You will find some personal reflections, images, scripture readings, and prayers.

May you be blessed.

And they found the stone rolled away from the tomb, but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. While they were perplexed about this, behold, two men suddenly stood near them in gleaming clothing; and as the women were terrified and bowed…
