Lent in Plain Sight

Welcome to the Lenten Devotional 2021 for Westminster Presbyterian Church.

Over the next six weeks, as we travel together on the journey of Lent, these devotions will serve as our companions. The resource is Lent in Plain Sight from Jill Duffield. She invites us to “open our eyes, to the certain providence and power of God, allowing us to lower our anxiety about the future, lessen our burden about the past and free us to follow Jesus in faith right here and now.” We will go through the six weeks of Lent exploring familiar objects with faith-filled eyes, accompanied by scripture to awaken us to God’s presence everywhere. You will find some personal reflections, images, scripture readings, and prayers.

May you be blessed.

And if anyone wants to sue you and take your shirt, hand over your coat as well. If anyone forces you to go one mile, go with them two miles. Give to the one who asks you, and do not turn away from the one who w…
