WEEK SIX: OIL

Five of them (the bridesmaids) were foolish, and five were prudent. For when the foolish took their lamps, they did not take extra oil with them; but the prudent ones took oil in flasks with their lamps.

Prayer
Lord, distractions of every kind overwhelm us. When we try and quiet our minds, so much floods our consciousness that focusing on your is hard. Send your spirit to quell the noise from within and without so that we might know the oil we need to keep our lamps burning brightly with the light of Jesus Christ. Amen.
