Haiti has struggled with many difficulties, especially during the past couple of years. But La Croix New Testament Mission stands as an oasis for its students. The mission depends on sponsorship to be able to educate and feed the 3,500 Pre-K to 13th grade students enrolled in its schools.

Currently 42 Westminster members and friends support 69 children. It has been a while since we have tried to increase the number of children sponsored by Westminster members. On April 10, Palm Sunday, we will focus on bringing more people into the sponsorship fold.

You are invited to come to the north entry anytime from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. to learn more about Haiti Child Sponsorship. Current sponsors will be on hand to talk about their experience as a child sponsor. You will have the opportunity to select a Haitian student’s profile from the 20 that will be offered, and to commit to one year of sponsorship. The cost of sponsorship is still $20 per month, or $240 per year per child.

On Sunday, April 10, come to the north entry, enjoy a beverage or snack, and learn more about how you can make a difference in the life of child in Haiti.
