In 2022, Westminster embarked on a new endeavor: to provide opportunities for community members to engage in meaningful conversations that support the mental health and well-being of young people and families.

We called the effort The Teen and Parent Mental Health Speaker Series.

Each of last year's conversations provided moments that resonated powerfully for those that attended. Chances for parents to voice experience, pain, or concern; chances for teens to explore, share, and learn. It didn't take long for us to decide that the conversations needed to continue.

This year we're thrilled to announce an amazing slate of speakers and topics for our fall series, with more news coming soon about the spring lineup. Beginning on September 27, The Teen and Parent Mental Health Speaker Series will meet the final Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in Fellowship Hall. All are welcome and are highly encouraged to invite anyone who may benefit from valuable conversation and support for both young people and families. This fall we are excited to introduce our theme, "Stories to Learn From."
