As Westminster celebrates 75 years, please plan to join your church family for a special evening of fellowship, entertainment, and auctions benefiting SHIM (South Hills Interfaith Movement).
Giving Gala 2021
This year's gala, sponsored by Westminster's Deacons, will benefit the youth programs of SHIM, including their Early Childhood Program, After School Program, and Youth Mentoring Program. SHIM’s youth programs offer a scope of vital educational services to children ages 3 through 18.
The majority of children are from foreign-born families, many of whom are refugees resettled in the US. SHIM also assists these families with basic needs programming, including food pantries, clothing, and utility assistance. SHIM’s youth programs serve 300 students and the food pantries serve more than 850 children monthly. Read more about SHIM here.
5:30 - 6:30 p.m. - Cocktails and Entertainment featuring Bob Banerjee and Mark Guiser
7:00 p.m. - Dinner
Please use the button below to register online for the Giving Gala. Cost is $50 per person. If you prefer to mail in your registration, please download the gala brochure here and fill out the registration form. Registrations will be accepted through Sunday, September 26.
New to the Giving Gala is a virtual basket raffle! It's easier than ever to enter the raffle, buy your tickets and submit as many as you would like in order to compete to win! And, you can do it straight from your phone, computer or you can have a deacon complete the transaction at the Giving Gala Ticket Sales desk on a Sunday morning. You do not have to be present at the Gala to enter the contest. Baskets include gourmet goodies, home decor items, women's accessory items, and much more! The raffle runs until the night of the event, October 2.
If you're unable to attend the gala, but would still like to support SHIM's youth programs, use the button below to make an online donation.
Individual and corporate sponsorship opportunities are also available. Please contact Matt Baculik for details.
