The purpose of Children's & Family Ministry at Westminster is to help families develop and nurture their children's faith in Jesus Christ, with emphasis on living our faith in daily actions and interactions with others. Children from birth through 6th grade are taught through scripture, worship, outreach to others, prayer, and Christian example. Check out the following menu for the variety of events and activities we offer. Please feel free to contact Laura Ecklin or Debb Egli for additional information.

JAM is on summer break and will return August 28!
Students in the 5th and 6th grades are invited to join us for JAM on Wednesdays evenings. JAM offers opportunities for fun, fellowship, and faith as students participate in Bible study, discussion, games, activities, mission projects, and more.
Every Wednesday night, we invite you to have dinner with us in the Yahweh Café from 5 to 6 p.m., and then stick around for JAM from 6 to 8 p.m.
- 6:00-8:00 p.m.
- Room 257
During the school year, Wednesday evenings offer another opportunity for families to come together. Choir rehearsals for our two children’s choirs (Cherubs for PreK - 2nd graders and Junior Choir for 3rd – 6th grade students), weekly family-friendly dinners, and a variety of special programs and education experiences create a vibrant atmosphere. Families and individuals are invited to join us for any part – or all – of each week’s events. Watch the Ministry Events for upcoming workshops and other opportunities for children of specific ages and their parents.
Children's Day In (CDI) is a year-round program provided for members of Westminster and the surrounding community. CDI is available Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. until noon for children ages 2 through 5½ years old, who are not yet enrolled in kindergarten. The program consists of free play, directed activities, snack, Bible stories, and the outdoor playground when weather permits. The fee is $15 per day per child or $24 per day for two children.
Children in 2nd grade and above (and their parents) are invited to attend sacrament classes during the school year. The classes focus on Baptism and Communion and help prepare children to participate in communion during the worship service.
Each summer we offer a one week Bible school experience to all children ages 5 through 6th grade. Using music, story-telling, games, crafts, snacks, and lots of fun, children learn more about God.
