Worship Volunteer Opportunities

In worship, we acknowledge God present in the world and in our lives. As we respond to God’s claim and redemptive action in Jesus Christ, we are transformed and renewed. In worship, we offer ourselves to God and are equipped for God’s service in the world. We are made to worship in community with others.

Communion

Each time we gather at the Lord’s Table we commit ourselves afresh to love and serve God, one another, and our neighbors in the world.

Welcome

At WPC, we want to provide an environment of true community where people feel welcomed, loved, and accepted just as they are. We can offer every person who walks through the door on Sunday morning a warm smile, a firm handshake, and a kind word.

Music

Song is a response which engages the whole self in prayer.
“Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all the earth, make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise.” Psalm 98:4

Physical Space

Our space is a place of holy meeting, a place of worship. These people are responsible for the care of the worship space and preparing it for each service.

Worship Leaders

There are opportunities for worship leadership to be shared. Members of the congregation can use their abilities and talents to point to the presence of God in worship.
