Volunteer Opportunities - Congregational Care
Stephen Ministry
Stephen Ministers are a group of lay persons who receive extensive training for a caring ministry for those who are in need of the support of a Christian friend. The Bible tells us to bear one another's burdens. This ministry provides the congregation an opportunity to use their spiritual gifts and to grow spiritually. Care receivers are matched to Stephen Ministers by Stephen Ministry leaders as appropriate. If you are interested in becoming a Stephen Minister, or would like to meet with a Stephen Minister, contact the church office at 412-835-6630.
