Volunteer Opportunities - Sustaining Ministries
Property Team
Oversees the monthly operating expenses (utilities and maintenance), custodial staff, recommends capital improvements. Time required: 10 meetings per year, 2 to 3 hours each. Building management skills a plus; knowledge of building maintenance, construction, home remodeling.
THURSDAY PROPERTY REHAB TEAM
This group makes repairs and improvements to the church building (Inside Crew) and to the grounds (Outside Crew). Meets Thursdays 8:30 am - 12:30 pm. This ministry saves the church the cost of hiring outside contractors, promotes fellowship and friendship and a personal satisfaction through doing hands-on work.
