Music
CHANCEL CHOIR MEMBER
Provides choral music during worship services, special services and concerts. Choir rehearsals are Thursdays from 7:30 - 9:30 p.m. in the choir room. Musical skills are acquired through rehearsal. Skills needed: Enthusiasm and a love of singing. Time required: 4 hours per week. Join others who share your love of music.
WESTMINSTER BELL RINGERS
Play in Sunday worship once per month September - May; play in community several times per year; rehearse on Wednesday evenings 7:30 - 9:00 p.m. in the choir room. Skills needed: must be able to read music. Time required: 1 1/2 hours per week for rehearsals; Sunday worship once per month.
CHOIR LIBRARIAN
Catalogs new music, enters information into the Music Library computer, and files music after it has been used by the choirs. Pulls music from files and places in choir members' folders. Skills needed: Some computer knowledge is helpful, but not necessary. Time required: Takes about 1 to 2 hours periodically as new music is purchased. 1 to 2 hours per week for music folders.
YOUTH CHOIR MEMBER
For youth Grades 7 - 12. Participate in Sunday worship once per month. Musical skills are acquired through rehearsal. A love of singing and enthusiasm are required! Rehearsal on Sundays 12:15 - 1:00 p.m. in the choir room. What a great way for teens to meet other teens with a common interest.
CHILDREN'S WORSHIP CART COORDINATOR
Keep supplies stocked and in good order on the two Children's Worship carts. The tools on the worship cart draw them into worship and help them experience and come to love the rhythm and routine of worship. Time required: 30 to 45 minutes per month at your convenience. Help our children to worship.
