Usher
You can help to make those who come through the doorways of Westminster feel at home and welcome on Sunday morning.
Job: Ushers for the 11:00 a.m. worship service during August.
Commitment: 1.5 hours per week, one time or more, depending on your schedule.
Compensation: Fellowship with a great group of people.
Preferred Skills: A warm smile. Training provided.
Help the pastors on Sunday morning. Many times ushers are the first persons people will meet when they come into worship.
Lil WROCers
Are you a teen who likes working with little kids? Invite a friend and it’s something you can do together. Help us with our summer camp.
Job: Li’l WROCer Summer Camp assistant
(Camp director is Elise Woomer.)
Commitment: flexible opportunities, you can help two or three mornings or more.
9:00 a.m. - noon:
August 4 – August 15
Skills Needed: you like spending time with little kids.
These programs are a great way to invite young families from the community to Westminster. You can help by making it fun!
Percussionist
Do you like to hit things? Join Westminster United, the worship team at The Bridge.
Commitment: Time commitment will vary depending on your schedule and ability to play.
Skills Needed: Some experience in percussion preferred. Instruction provided.
Photographer
Do you like to take pictures? Do your family photos include all of the heads?
Job: Photography of church events/activities.
Commitment: From time to time, according to your schedule. We would like to expand our staff of unpaid photographers who provide photos for our website, the Spire, etc.
Skills Needed: basic photography; digital camera experience preferred. Camera provided.
Pictures help us to record who we are, where we are serving, and let us share this with others. All ages of photographers welcome!
