Volunteer Opportunities - Worship
Chancel Guild
The Chancel Guild is responsible for the care of the Sanctuary and preparing it for each service. The Chancel Guild's work is done behind the scenes but enhances the beauty and setting of each worship service. All Chancel Guild members help in decorating and removal for Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas. The Guild always welcomes new members of the team. This is a good way to meet new friends while giving your time to the church.
FLOWER ARRANGING
Make the arrangements for the Sanctuary and, in summer, for the courtyard. If you love flowers, and always wanted to learn the art of flower arranging, there are experienced members who can offer training.
FLOWER REMOVAL
Each Sunday flower arrangements are separated and wrapped for delivery by the Deacons to shut-ins.
CANDLE WORKERS
Prepare the Sanctuary candles for weddings and special services.
