CURRENT COMMUNITY VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Community Service Hours for Teens: There are many opportunities available for teens who are in need of community service hours.

Garfield Farms: Join local churches, neighborhood groups, and organizations that provide fresh food to the communities of East Liberty and Garfield by farming abandoned or unused land. Read more.

House of Manna Worship: House of Manna is a missional faith community in Homewood that brings everyday people into the family of God. Join a group from Westminster for worship, food, and fellowship.

Produce to People: Work together with other volunteers and the Pittsburgh Food Bank distributing food at the Martin Luther King Elementary School on the north side. Read more.

Safety for Seniors: Help elderly residents by conducting home safety assessments to minimize fire and fall hazards. All inspections completed in two-person teams. Training provided by Interfaith Volunteer Caregivers.
