The Interfaith Hospitality Network -- www.nihn.org is a nationally recognized organization that works through area churches to help people who find themselves temporarily displaced.
The members of the group are folks who have fallen on hard times due to loss of job, fire, illness, or change in marital status. The Interfaith Hospitality Network provides meals and shelter for those who might otherwise find themselves on the street. Many are single moms with small children. All of the guests have been thoroughly screened and are working towards independence and self-sufficiency. The network also provides job training, counseling, and assists in finding housing.
Westminster's IHN Team is currently sharing the duties at Bethel Presbyterian Church. We cook and drive the van to Washington, PA. If you can help us or want more information about IHN, please call
Cindy Marynak, 724-942-5674.
