Q: How much does it cost?
A: For just $20 a month, your gift will provide a quality education in a Christian environment, a hot meal every day, and the opportunity to commit their lives and futures to the Lord Jesus Christ.

Q: Can I send in a check for the whole year?
A: You may give monthly, quarterly, or one check for the whole year. If you make a pledge to sponsor a child (or children), we ask you to be as faithful as possible in your support to care for their ongoing needs.
Q: I would like to correspond with my child. Is that possible?
A: From time to time, dropping a note in the mail or sending small gifts for their birthdays or at Christmas is greatly appreciated and very significant to the children. When you write or send a gift, you will need to mail your correspondence or package to Pastor Pierre's attention at the following address, and on the envelope or package you can direct it to your child.

Q: Is there anything else I can do to help?
A: Because of the recently inflated customs fees, Pastor Pierre does not recommend sending any packages through the address given previously. The children and their families greatly appreciate receiving food in the form of rice and beans purchased through a local vendor there. If you would like to help in this way, a special gift in the amount of $68 will buy a 100-pound bag of rice and a 100-pound bag of beans. You can send a check to Westminster Presbyterian Church and designate that it is to be used to purchase rice and/or beans for your sponsored child.
Q: What if I am not able to fulfill my commitment to the sponsorship program?
A: Simply call Westminster Presbyterian Church at 412-835-6630 and let us know. The child will be reassigned to another sponsor so that their education will not be interrupted.
Q: Can I send money directly to the children?
A: You can send a check payable to Westminster Presbyterian Church and indicate in the memo section of the check: gift for Haiti Child Sponsorship and the child's name. The money will be deposited into Pastor Pierre's special account. We will then let him know that money has been deposited in his account for a special child.
Q: Does my sponsorship automatically renew each year?
A: In January you will receive a postcard asking if you wish to renew your sponsorship.
