Barefoot School: Parent Information
- Our theme this year is “Kingdom Rock – Where Kids Stand Strong for God!”
- BFS Directors are Robin Pyles and Bonnie Bacik
- Celebration Lunch & Carnival on Friday at noon. Everyone (parents, siblings, students and friends) is invited!
- All Crew Leaders will be wearing bandanas and name tags for easy identification.

The majority of Station Leaders and other BFS staff will be wearing special Barefoot School Staff t-shirts and name tags.
- BFS opening and close will be held in the WROC (gym)
- The BFS Hub will be located in the kitchen serving area. At any time if you need assistance or have a problem, please stop into the Hub for a Director.
- You will receive daily emails this year related to each day’s BFS activities. Daily newsletters will not be sent home as in the past.
- A communication white board will be located immediately outside of the Hub in Fellowship Hall. If you need to communicate a need or question to a Director and they are not available, please write your question on the board and someone will get back to you ASAP.
- Students must sign in daily in Fellowship Hall. Additionally, each family will be assigned a security ID. To be released, a parent/caregiver MUST provide that security ID to the crew leader. The crew leader will then write a symbol on the student’s nametags indicating that they have been cleared to leave. Crew leaders CANNOT release any child without receiving that security id from a parent or designated care giver.
- Overall Safety and Security Procedures have been put in place. Please read them in detail.
