The Westminster Samaritan Counseling Center
Westminster Presbyterian Church is a caring community of faith. As a community formed in Jesus Christ we are bound to God and one another in Christian love. Every member of the body of Christ is called to intercede on behalf of others, bear one another’s burdens and build each other up, sharing our mutual joys and sorrows. The focus of care at Westminster is not only in meeting needs but in enabling all members to identify and carry out their ministries of service to others.
“When individuals are upheld by one another in Christ, nurtured by the Word of God and knit spiritually in a common body they are blessed with vitality as they reach out to a world in need.” ~Deborah Van Deusen Hunsinger, Pray Without Ceasing: Revitalizing Pastoral Care
Our goal at Westminster is to meet the needs of every member of our congregation from the very youngest to the oldest. In addition to providing support during all of life’s transitions and challenges we hope to promote overall wellness. Our resources are available to the community at large. Our model of care is a missional model, designed to help us reach out in Christ’s love to the world around us.
